Our Outdoor Living Mission

We know tackling an outdoor project can be daunting, and we have invested the effort to serve our clients with an experience unlike any other. Here at Southpaw & Company, we have a passion to build beautiful backyard spaces and do it with excellence. Our goal is to ensure we address all your pain points, frustrations, and needs. We custom-design your project in-house using our streamlined process: Discovery, Development, Engineering, and Execution. Our entire operation is run through JobTread, an industry-leading construction management software. Each customer is provided with their own client portal to review and upload all documentation, receive daily job updates including photos and videos, and process all payments easily via ACH.

Our Outdoor Living Process

Phase 1

Discovery | Feasibility | Concept

Includes a site visit, feasibility report, 3D scan of your proposed work area, schematic concept, and a preliminary project cost range. After approximately 2-3 weeks you will receive your digital package within your JobTread portal, which leads to Phase 2 of our process.

Phase 2

Design Development

Includes photorealistic CAD renderings, which are used to narrow down the scope of work and the proposed construction costs. This exercise is used to ensure accuracy in the design and provide increased detail for structural engineering analysis, which is handled in Phase 3.

Phase 3

Engineering | Contract

Includes PE structural engineering analysis, build and site plans, and detailed material take-off. This phase provides the finalized package required for county permitting as well as a client contract, which includes a detailed estimate highlighting key build elements, specific to your project. A construction date will be set following the signing of your contract and permit approval.
